A great golfing day out

At Minehead and West Somerset Golf Club we offer great hospitality for groups and societies.

With its glorious views, superb year-round greens and warm hospitality there are few better places to hold a Golf Day than Minehead and West Somerset Golf Club.

Home to resident Professional John Bickerton, 3-time European Tour Winner, our 18 Hole, 6,233 yards, par 72 course displays the best characteristics of links play with some parkland features. We have easy walking terrain, great drainage and excellent greens and the course is a delight to play all year round. You will be inspired by beautiful views, challenged by ever-changing golfing conditions and invigorated by the wonderful sea air. Our dedicated and friendly staff will take care of your day from registration to the meal afterwards and each golf day can be tailored to your specific needs with corporate signage, buggies & trolleys, nearest the pin & longest drive markers and prizes for your guests all available.

About your day

About your day

Minehead and West Somerset Golf Club is a wonderful course to visit and play links golf. A warm welcome in the Clubhouse and Pro Shop sets you up for a round of golf that will test your abilities whilst giving stunning views of Exmoor and the Bristol Channel coast. If you're lucky you may even see a steam train passing by.

The course, which is open all year, has a small footprint but is testing because of the wind - there is always a breeze - and the greens superb all year round.

Don't take our word for it, here are a few of our recent reviews:
